I went on the Rural Development Exchange that was put on by Augustana University College and Canada World Youth. On this exchange I was given the opportunity to live and work in Mexico. I lived with a family in a rural village called San Andres de la Cal. I love my Mexican friends and now many of my other friends that I know from around the world. They are what inspries me. I am inspired by Youth, by Voice, and by people who care. I am also inspired by the beauty of the world, which I think consists of nature, of art and of community. I am involved in theatre, and literature: I was recently published in a book about Indigenous identity, the environment, and co-habitation and communication between Indigenous peoples and French Canadians in Québec.
